Customer Reviews - Removable Wall Sticker/Wall Mural - Gazebo by The Pond in a Beautiful Green Park | Creative Window View Home Decor/Wall Decor - 36"x48" - (Cont'd)
the picture is absolutely amazing!
for other users putting up these covers: make sure it is where you want it when you start. also, note there is about a 1/2 inch overlap from one panel to the next.

We really like it, easy to hang but we should overlap the pieces a little so after they shrank there wouldn't be the gaps. I found the solution - we made the mural looks like behind the window by using the trim

This wall decal is very nicely made. I had initially thought it would come in a bunch of separate pieces of which you can place where ever you like and in whatever order you choose. This is not the case. The wall decal comes in 4 sheets with the posters already collaged together. There are many different vintage posters, mostly war posters and movie posters, all of which are public domain photos. I would have loved to see a decal in this manner with comic book covers as well. My husband and I love the vintage war and movie posters and one with vintage comic covers would be even more awesome. But once again, in order for that to happen, the covers would have to have become public domain. I do think that the war and movie posters should have been separated and made into two different decals, but it still looks great.
This wall decal is huge! It takes up 8 feet of wall horizontally. The sheets have less than an inch of area where you will need to overlap the sheets to get them to match up on the wall. The best way to do this, we have found, is to put sheet #1 under sheet #2, sheet #2 under sheet #3, and sheet #3 under sheet #4. The way they are cut, that was the easiest to line up. The bottoms of the sheets are labeled with their number so you can easily put them in order. There is a small area under the decals that need to be cut off (the area that shows the sheet number). I feel this would have been much easier if that area were perforated or precut and you could peel the decal up from that part, leaving the numbered bottom on the decal backing. It's not hard to figure out what order the sheets go in after you cut the bottom off, though. We are very much looking forward to using these in our office once it's finished being remodeled.
I did receive this at no cost in order to thoroughly test and provide my honest opinion. Your experience and thoughts may vary from that of my own, of course. The manner in which I acquired this has no effect on my thoughts. I provide honest opinions so that you may have a better understanding of the item.

though colors not as bright as in the picture, this mural is awesome! Really made my daughter's bedroom which she wanted as "magic forest" themed.

It looks so realistic! Very easy to hang and it looks classy. Thick and looks easy to move, but we don't plan to. It's like a vacation looking at it.
