Customer Reviews - Removable Wall Sticker/Wall Mural - Beautiful Sunny Beach on a Tropical Island with Palm Trees | Creative Window View Home Decor/Wall Decor - 36"x48"

Too big
Feel like on the beach!! :D
Very difficult to hang. It's definitely a 2 or 3 person job. I would think it's almost impossible to put it up without any wrinkles or bubbles. And once it's up you definitely can't relocate it. I think just a regular poster would be much easier and cheaper.
If I ever have to take this down, it's taking half the dry wall with it. It's beautiful and I get many compliments. But I had a bubble during installation and when I attempted to pull it back off in the corner to fix it, it started taking wall with it. So I cut the vinyl in that spot to smooth the bubble and stuck it back to the wall. I intend to quit before I move offices, just do I don't have to face the huge problem it's going to cause when I remove it.
I put it on the wall in my son's half bath. Looks terrific. I read reviews regarding the difficulty putting this on the wall . This helped me tremendously.
I measured the wall and mural to center the mural. I placed pins on one side and peeled off backing. I purchased a smoothing brush, however, my son smoothed it with his hand. I also used painter's tape across the top for guidance which I then removed. Most importantly I purchased Sherwin-Williams paint with primer in it for the wall (new house).. Cost a bit but I was able to lift the mural as my son smoothed out wrinkles.
Both my son and daughter helped me. Definitely need six hands. That is the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.
Love it - as described
Really beautiful
Very nice! Adds beauty to a plain wall at a laundromat that I own. Gets humid so I had to super glue around the edges to keep it from peeling off. Cement wall plus humidity is the issue not the decal.
I got this to put up on the wall behind the deep soaking tub after I got a beautiful bathroom remodel. I take a hot bath regularly and the wall gets a lot of condensation from the hot water. The wall is texturized but the most of the mural sticks pretty well. The both right and left ends peel off about 2 inches and curl up all the time, so I taped both sides from top to bottom with masking tape. The tape color is pretty much the same color as the mural window frame and my wall so it won't show unless you look specifically at it. Many of my friends checked out my new bathroom, but nobody really realized the tape until I mentioned it. All of them commented how nice it looked. I am glad I bought this. It made a quick transformation to a beach house bath!!
The physical quality of this product is pretty good. It's a thick vinyl material. The print quality is very good. The down side... you have to lay it out for a period of time to get the "roll" out of it; but when you unroll it, creases form in the picture. With these creases, I found it impossible to put up flawlessly. I ended up with a slight center crease from the boat in the water down to the bottom. Now this could be partially my fault because I did it by myself. I would recommend 2-3 people because of its size and unforgiving thick material. (one person to hold it level, one person to pull down the backing, and one to apply it to the wall) I have actually had professional training (along time ago) in the proper application of large decals. This "knowledge" did me no good here. The backing is so sticky, second chances are a risky move for your wall. Removal, now or later, will likely require some wall spackle and paint. If you are lucky enough to get this up flawlessly, it's a really nice picture. Good luck!
